ABOUT ME

Hola! My name is Carlos, I’m 37 years old and I’m Mexican. My friends call me Charlie, feel free to do so as well. I’m passionate about good music and sharing stories. I’ve lived on Isla Mujeres for a while, although I´m originally from Monterrey, México. I went to high school in Texas, where I became fluent in English. After graduating college in my hometown, I worked for ten years in the corporate world. In 2016, after getting married, my partner Marcia and I decided to start a new life. We both quit our corporate jobs, sold most of our stuff, and moved to the island. We now live here full time and share a simple life with our dog Nana. Marcia teaches yoga and I give golf cart tours around the island as a part of the Isla Driver Robby team.
